Cristiano Ronaldo has done it again. He has won this year’s ballon d'or in competition with Barcelona’s Lionel Messi and Bayern Munich’s Manuel Neuer. Cristiano Ronaldo has made a point to show why he is best of this current time and why he will remain the best. Ronaldo actions prior to winning this year’s ballon d'or has led to many controversies in the media as his attitude seemed a little cocky as he was presented the award. The moment he went on stage he started screaming leaving everyone watching shocked in state. It seemed that there was literally another Ronaldo who was receiving the award. When Ronaldo won the ballon d'or last year, he was humble and his whole presence along with his heart-warming speech with the spark of tears in his eyes left everyone who was watching as emotional as he was.
Ronaldo was criticized on how he would never fit into David Beckham’s jersey but did he prove them wrong. He is going to reach 30 this year and unlike other footballers, he is getting better as he is aging and he is still not done filling up his trophy closet.
